KENT LIFE GARDEN AWARDS

On Thursday 15th September 2016  we went to Hadlow College with Mrs Burles and Mrs Whyte to attend the Kent Life Garden Awards.  We were very excited when it was announced that we had won FIRST PRIZE for the Kent Life

“BEST SACRED SPACE” SCHOOL GARDEN AWARD 2016

The judges were impressed by the way we have made good use of such a small space to create a school garden which is not only a beautiful place to sit and relax but also reflects our school Christian values.

We had to collect the prize for our school: a lovely certificate, an engraved trowel and £200 of Garden Voucher.

All four of us were also given a “Garden Goodie Bag” to keep. We had a lovely afternoon, and even had sandwiches and cakes!

We were very proud to represent our school.
