Our School Vision Statement
FAITH AND ENDEAVOUR - Living and learning together
Inspired by St Martin we endeavour to make a difference through compassionate actions so every member of our community and our natural world flourishes. We value, love and nurture every individual’s unique gifts and talents by investing and empowering them through rich learning opportunities to reach their full potential following Jesus’ example.
St Martin’s Values and Ethos
At St Martin’s we want to be a school that shines God’s love in all we do. We want pupils, staff and parents alike to know and feel that they are precious in God’s eyes and valued for who they are. Jesus shared the parable of the Good Samaritan as a way to illustrate God’s love for us all. In the same way that the Samaritan and St Martin showed compassion we at St Martin’s love each individual because we believe God cares for us all. And just as the Samaritan, we in turn celebrate the individuality and differences of everyone and show love and compassions in our actions so that every person and our beautiful planet thrive. Our core values stem from the Christian belief that because God loves us, He wants us to love everybody and trust that He has the brightest future planned for us all. We celebrate and uphold the values of compassion, love, hope, wisdom, perseverance and forgiveness within our school, our community and beyond. These help us on our day to day journeys to live well together, to love our planet and to strive to be the very best we can be in all we do.
OUR CORE CHRISTIAN VALUES:
