ST MARTIN'S WEEK
We held a special week when we thought about what makes St Martin's Church of England Primary School such a special place.
VALUES INTO BIBLE ART
For two days we worked with some artists to create some amazing pictures of Bible Stories linked to our school values. Look at the slide show to find out how we created the pictures and to see the finished masterpieces!

CHARITY DAY
Some of Year 5 and 6 wanted to raise money for different charities. They organised different activities for the rest of the school. Find out which charities we supported and how much we raised by going to Community> Charity and Fund Raising!
The Mighty Zulu Nation
On Thursday 22nd October the Mighty Zulu Nation Theatre Company visited St Martins CEP School and Seabrook CEP School. The aim of the interactive performances was to provide the children with a unique and authentic cultural experience - and it certainly did that! The pupils and staff were enthralled by the sound of drumming and the authentic costumes as they all leant some traditional Zulu dances and songs. The impact on the children was evident from the dancing going on in the playground and from their comments which include:
“I thought it was really interesting the way people from different countries come to dance for us. It was also lovely to try the dance ourselves” (Hollie Yr5)
“I liked it when they fell on their bottoms and when the teachers danced” (Oscar YrR)
“I liked it when the drumming was loud” (Harvey Yr4)
“It was the best day of my life!” (Abiral Yr2)
