Our teacher is Mrs Dawkins and our teaching assistants are Mrs Fitzgerald, Miss Ewins (mornings) and Mrs Biddiss (afternoons) .

Important information
Willow class will have P.E every Wednesday. Please ensure that your child arrives at school in their P.E kit and wearing trainers.
TERM 1: What are we learning?
In Willow class this term we will be getting to know our classmates, learning the rules and routines of school and having lots of fun during play based and adult guided learning!
Phonics
In Willow class we use the Phonics programme ‘Supersonic Phonic friends’. We shall be learning to hear initial sounds, recognise phonic sounds and blend sounds to read words. We will begin to learn some tricky words too!
This term we are focussing on learning the Basics 2 sounds and working on our blending and segmenting skills.

Literacy
The children will enjoy listening to a range of fiction, non-fiction and poetry texts! In our focus Literacy and topic lessons we will be exploring the following fiction texts :
Maths
In maths we are learning to count accurately, recognise numbers and subitise!
