WELCOME TO MAPLE CLASS!
Your teacher is Mrs Janser and your teaching assistants are Mrs Lama, Mrs Cross and Mrs Chapman.
This term in English we will be using the book Troll Swap, by Leigh Hodgkinson, to help use expanded noun phrases to describe. In maths we will be focusing on numbers to 100 and partitioning them into tens and ones. In Science we will be exploring living things and their habitats. In geography we will be learning all about maps. We will also be looking at the big question of ‘Who made the world?’ in RE.
Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays. On these days your child should come to school in their PE kit with their hair tied up and wearing no jewellery.
Home Learning includes completing a minimum of four activities from their Home Learning Grid over terms 1 and 2 and reading daily with an adult.
Reading books are changed on a Tuesday and a Thursday, but please ensure your child brings their reading book to school every day.
