Welcome to Year 6
Our class teachers in Year 6 are Mrs Hawkins and Mrs Binks and our teaching assistants are Mrs Morris and Mrs Yorke.

In Term 1 we are studying population changes in Geography, whilst looking at how this affects the environment. We will be reading and writing flashback narratives in English, based around Star of Fear, Star of Hope by Jo Hoestlandt and starting by revising our previous knowledge in maths. In Religious Education, our learning question is ‘Creation and Science: Conflicting or Complementary?’
Home Learning includes reading aloud with an adult, practicing our weekly spelling rule, completing set tasks on Mathletics and choosing activities from our exciting Home Learning grid!
PE days: Tuesday and Thursday.
