Here is an overview of the learning for term 5
English - We will be reading a fiction book called The Curious Case of the Missing Mammoth by Ellie Hattie and Karl James Mountford.
Maths - Place Value within 50, Measurement - Length and Height, Measurement - Mass and Volume
Science - The focus will be an introduction to plants. The children will be growing their own plants and discovering what plants need to survive.
Re - Judaism - Who is Jewish and what do they believe?
PE - Over our two weekly sessions this term, we will enjoy the second part of their fundamental movement programme and practicing the early skills of striking and fielding games.
History and Geography - Discovering the lives of Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria and learning about what we can see at the coast.
Music - Having fun with improvisation! Exciting activities where everyone is creating something new. It can be a melody or a rhythm and the children will be both working on their own and in groups.
Online Safety - Will concentrate on potential bullying online.
PSHE - With the help of our friends Jigsaw Jack and Jerrie Cat, this term’s discussions will focus on what healthy relationships are.
We will be exploring how families can look different for each of us and the importance of the relationship we have with ourselves.
