Here is an overview of the learning for term 1

Whole Class Reading – Man on the Moon by Simon Bartram

Maths – Place Value within 10.
Number – Addition and Subtraction within 10.
Geometry – Shape.

Science – Forces, Earth and Space with a focus on Seasonal Changes

Re – God. What do Christians believe God is like?

PE – Over our two weekly sessions this term, we will enjoy the first part of their fundamental movement programme and practicing the skills of balancing and spinning in Gymnastics.

Our PE days are Monday and Thursday

Geography – Discovering what it is like to live in the UK.

Music – Having fun with improvisation!
Exciting activities with a focus on finding the pulse of the music, exploring this idea with voice,
physical movement and instruments.

Online Safety – Will concentrate on potential bullying online.

PSHE – With the help of our friends Jigsaw Jack and Jerrie Cat, this term’s
discussions will focus on the roles and responsibilities of the classroom.
