Term 5

 

This term in class 4, we will be learning to understand how rivers are formed and their journey to the sea as well as how water cycle works through our topic on Raging Rivers. We will also be learning how to use the index in an atlas to find rivers and locate famous rivers from around the world. Additionally, we will learn to understand how the water cycle is a closed cycle and how water changes form between 3 different states of matter, which links with our science topic for the term (States of Matter).  

 

PE this term will be on Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings.

Tuesday afternoons will be on the field – striking and fielding.

Friday mornings – gymnastics, fitness and basic skills

 

Home learning – Learn spellings from personalised spelling mats and complete a Bloom’s grid activity every two weeks. Below is a copy of the Term 5's Rivers Bloom’s Grid.
