This term, we will be learning about how the Early Civilisation of Ancient Egypt has influenced our society today. In addition, we will be looking at how the Egyptians built the pyramids and also how the mummification process takes place. In Literacy, we are currently looking at the poem Macavity from T.S. Eliot's 'Cats'. We will soon be writing our own poems in this style about different animals.
In science this term we will be looking into how electricity is used and made. We will be creating our own circuits using a range of equipment and identifying what objects are insulators or conductors.
Homework is set on a Friday - Children will be given what they need to do on a Friday. Their homework will be stuck in at school on the Friday.
Homework is due on a Thursday - Children will need hand in their homework, Book and Bloom's grid activity. By the end of term, all children should have completed at least 3 Bloom's grid activities.
